Barbara Ann Minehan Keenen

Barbara-page-001Barbara Ann Minehan Keenen, 45, of Clarion, formerly of Ridgefield Park, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Alleghany General Hospital.

She was born on August 7, 1971 in Hackensack, NJ; daughter of the late Patrick James Sr. and Barbara Ann McEntee Minehan.

Barbara was married on March 24, 2004 to David R. Keenen, who survives.

She worked as a house wife and mother.

Barbara was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion.

She enjoyed the beach, reading, singing, dancing, camping, and spending time with her family.

Barbara is survived by her husband, one daughter, Abigail Rose Keenen, a son James Patrick Keenen both of Clarion, two step children, Rachel Keenen of New Jersey, and Rick Keenen and his wife Lauren of Virginia, two step grandchildren, Andrew Haase of New Jersey, and Olivia Keenen of Virginia, one brother, Patrick James Minehan Jr. of New York, two sisters, Joanne Mary Minehan of New Jersey, and Kelli Minehan Periera and her husband Jacques of New Jersey.

She is also survived by her parents-in-law, Dick and Rose Keenen of Clarion, two sisters-in-law, Barbara J. Keenen of Georgia, Margret “Peggy” Corp of Virginia, one brother-in-law, Patrick S. Keenen and his wife Erynn of Texas.

Barbara also survived and loved by a number of aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her infant twin siblings, Timothy and Erin.

Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion with the Rev. Samuel Bungo, pastor of Saint Charles Catholic Church in New Bethlehem.

Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
