Bruce S. Summerville, 47, of 85 Myers Lane, Sligo died Wednesday November 23, 2016 at his home.

Born September 4, 1969 in Clarion he was the son of Wilson E. and Naomi Francisco Summerville.

Bruce was a graduate of Union High School class of 1988, he then served six years in the U.S. Army where he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Science. Bruce also received his Masters of Business Administration from Clarion University, and then he graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. He was raised as a Catholic. Bruce enjoyed hiking, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his daughter, at the family farm.

Bruce is survived by his wife Amy and his daughter Brooklyn Paige Summerville, his mother; Naomi Summerville of Sligo, a brother; Greg Summerville and his wife Kathy of Mercer, and three sisters; Starr Summerville of Leeper, Donna Summerville of Meadville and Yvonne Summerville of Hermitage, he is also survived by his special friends Brian and Jodi Acey and their family of Clarion and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Wilson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family suggest memorials be made in Bruce’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
