Say What?!: Chef Creates 400-Pound Gingerbread Replica of Wrigley Field

ROCKFORD, Ill. — An Illinois country club chef paid tribute to the World Series champion Chicago Cubs with a 400-pound gingerbread replica of Wrigley Field.

Gerald Madero, chef at the Forest Hills County Club in Rockford, said he turned to the Cubs for inspiration when brainstorming ideas for the club’s annual holiday brunch gingerbread centerpiece.
