Tractor Trailer Jackknifes, Shuts Down Route 322

SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — A jackknifed tractor trailer shut down Route 322 in Elk Township, Clarion County, for nearly 2 hours on Monday morning.

Clarion-based State Police say the crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. when 28-year-old Wesley Steiner, of Dalton, OH, lost control of his 1997 Freightliner while traveling west on State Route 322 near Soap Fat Road.

Steiner’s truck exited the roadway, struck a guide rail, and jackknifed, blocking both lanes of travel.
