State Police Calls: Theft,Traffic Accidents

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Parker Man Victim of Theft from car

Clarion-based State Police are investigating a theft from a car that happened sometime in November.

Sometime between November 9 and 30, an unknown perpetrator(s) entered a vehicle owned by a 28-year-old Parker man and stole property from it.

The vehicle was parked on Jordan Hollow Road in Perry Township.

Tractor Trailer Wreck on I-80

There were no injuries in a tractor trailer wreck Monday on Interstate 80.

Junior Feliz Castillo, 28, of Bronx, N.Y., was driving a 2013 Kenworth west on I-80 when it went off the north berm of the road and hit the guiderail.

The Kenworth then traveled across both lanes and into the median where it came to a rest with the truck facing east and the trailer facing west.

Feliz Castillo was wearing his seat belt and was not injured.

He was cited by Clarion-based State Police for driving at unsafe speeds.

No injuries in Route 68 crash

There were no injuries in a car accident Sunday morning in Monroe Township.

Miles Goodman, 28, of Sligo, was driving a 2010 Ford Focus south on Route 68, just north of Sligo, when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve.

Goodman lost control of the car. It spun 180 degrees, left the road, and hit a wooded embankment.

The Focus was not drivable and had to be towed from the scene.

Goodman, who was wearing his seat belt, was not injured.

Clarion-based State Police cited him for driving at unsafe speeds.
