Sigel Man Loses Control of Pickup Truck on Snow-covered State Route 949, Crashes into Utility Pole

HEATH TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police have released details on a December 17 motor vehicle accident in Heath Township, Jefferson County.

State Police say the accident happened around 5:40 a.m. when Daniel G. Clark, 52, of Sigel, lost control of his 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 while traveling on State Route 949 near Rabbit Run Lane.

The vehicle traveled off the roadway and crashed into a utility pole.

The road was covered with snow and ice at the time of the crash, according to State Police.

Clark, who was wearing a safety belt, was not injured in the crash.

He was cited for driving too fast.
