NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. (D9Sports) — Austin Ion poured in 23 points to lead visiting Keystone to a 66-27 win over Redbank Valley in KSAC South action.

Dalton Jones chipped in 15 points for the Panthers, who also got 11 from Corey Rapp. Nate Wingard had 10 rebounds to go with two points.

Brock Barrett’s six points led Redbank Valley.

KARNS CITY 54, MONITEAU 51

KARNS CITY, Pa. — Noah Pollock scored eight of his 15 points in the fourth quarter to help Karns City rally past visiting Moniteau for a 54-51 KSAC South victory.

The Gremlins seemed dead in the water when they trailed 38-21 with 4:30 to play in the third quarter and still weren’t in good shape at the end of the quarter down eight, 42-34.

But Pollock hit a pair of 3-pointers in the last quarter, while Chandler Turner added five of his game-high 16 points in the frame. Turner finished with a double-double thanks to 10 rebounds, while Pollock chipped in seven assists.

Lake Pry paced Moniteau with 15 points with Nate Sosigian adding 11.

UNION 51, A-C VALLEY 42

RIMERSBURG, Pa. — Lucas Bowser scored 20 points, hauled in 14 rebounds and dished out three assists to give Union a 51-42 KSAC South victory over visiting A-C Valley.

Kolby Montgomery chipped in 11 points for the Golden Knights, who also got all-around games from Gavin Hawk (4 points, 4 steals, 4 rebounds, 5 assists) and Dana Logue (6 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals).

Kody Wolfe led A-C Valley with 19 points, while Jeff Ginn added eight points and 10 rebounds.

CRANBERRY 47, FOREST AREA 35

TIONESTA, Pa. — Dan McQuaide scored 16 points to help Cranberry to its first win of the season 47-35 over Forest Area at West Forest.

Andrew Gunn and Cameron Dougherty each added eight points for the Berries.

Seth Berlin had another big night for Forest Area with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Dillon DiCorpo chipped in seven points for the Fires.

CLARION-LIMESTONE 90, VENANGO CATHOLIC 37

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. — Led by Dan Callen’s game-high 22 points, Clarion-Limestone had five players reach double digits in a 90-37 blowout win over visiting Venango Catholic in KSAC North action.

Ian Callen chipped in with 15 points for the Lions, who led 61-22 at halftime, while Chris Callen-Deal had a career-high 14 points, freshman Deion Deas 13 tallies and Sam Leadbetter 10. Dan Callen added nine rebounds, while Callen-Deal and Ian Callen each had six boards.

Tim Wagner paced Venango Catholic with 13 points with Hunter Lancaster adding nine for the Vikings.
