Police Find Stalled Vehicle in Tionesta Creek; Man Arrested for DUI

FOREST CO., Pa. (EYT) — Police say a DUI arrest was made around 3:30 p.m. on December 28 on Nebraska Road, in Green Township, Forest County.

According to Marienville-based State Police, the incident occurred when a known, 55-year-old Natrona Heights man was located in his vehicle which was stalled in the rising waters of Tionesta Creek on Nebraska Road at the entrance to the boat launch.

The presence of alcohol was detected, and the known suspect was arrest for DUI, police say.

Charges are pending BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) results.

The name of the suspect was not released.
