Police Release Details on Two-Vehicle Crash in Shippenville

SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a two-vehicle accident occurred on Main Street (State Route 322), at its intersection with Railroad Street, in Shippenville Borough, Clarion County.

According to police, this crash occurred around 11:01 a.m. on December 31, as a Chevrolet Tahoe — driven by 42-year-old Bryan W. Beck, of Tionesta — was stopped to make a left turn onto Railroad Street from Route 322 westbound

A Dodge Nitro — driven by 61-year-old David F. Evans, of Oil City — was traveling eastbound near the intersection, and the Chevrolet Tahoe made the left turn and struck the Dodge Nitro.

Neither driver nor two passengers in Beck’s vehicle — a 10-year-old female and a 5-year-old female — were injured.

All occupants were using seat belts.

Beck was charged with a traffic violation.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were removed from the scene by Mark’s Towing.
