Saturday’s High School Basketball Roundup: C-L Boys Gets Victory

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. (D9Sports) — Dan Callen’s 22 points and 10 rebounds led Clarion-Limestone to a 65-44 non-league win over Propel Andrew Street Charter Saturday afternoon.

Callen scored eight points in the first quarter as the Lions built a 20-10 lead. He had 12 points by halftime and finished off a double-double with 10 rebounds to go with two blocks. Ian Callen had 12 points and nine rebounds and Christian Smith scored 14 points.

Darrius Davis scored 12 points to lead Propel (4-8), which trailed 39-20 at halftime.

SLIPPERY ROCK BOYS 58, MONITEAU 37

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Hunter Prementine led a balanced Slippery Rock offense with 12 points, as the Rockets knocked off visiting Moniteau, 58-37, Saturday.

Nick Wherthey added 11 points with Rod Williams and Ryan Dutton each chipped in 10 points for Slippery Rock.

Lake Pry led Moniteau with 13 points.

SLIPPERY ROCK 61, MONITEAU 51

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Moniteau got down big early and despite rallying could never fully recover in falling 61-51 on the road to Moniteau.

Kristina DeMatteis led the Lady Warriors with 17 points and 10 rebounds with Alazia Greaves adding 13 tallies and Emma Bair eight points, nine rebounds and four assists.
