Molly W. Courson, 85, of Clarion, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Clarion Hospital.

She was born on August 9, 1931 in Wellsville, NY; daughter of the late Wayne and Roberta Lain Wesner.

Molly was married to Robert S. Courson on October 28, 1952 and he preceded her in death on May 10, 1992.

She worked at the Owen’s Illinois Glass Plant in Clarion and was an Interior Decorator in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York.

Molly was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarion.

She is survived by her two sons, Timothy J. Courson and D. Jeff Courson and his friend Debra Bowser all of Clarion and a sister-n-law, Dorothy Wesner of Knox.

Molly was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother William Wesner.

At her request there will be no public visitation. The Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion is handling arrangements.

Private interment will take place in the Clarion Cemetery.
