PAINT TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a two-vehicle accident occurred on Thursday afternoon on Paint Blvd. (State Route 66), at its intersection with Amsler Avenue, in Paint Township, Clarion County.

According to police, 40-year-old Michelle D. Shirey, of Parker, and 33-year-old Matthew S. Wensel, of Sligo, were involved in the collision.

Police say this accident occurred around 5:07 p.m. on February 2, when a 2011 Honda Crosstour — driven by Shirey — and a vehicle listed as a Commonwealth Vehicle — operated by Wensel — pulled out at the same time, causing the Honda to strike the state vehicle.

The vehicles were driven from the scene by their own means.

Both drivers were using seat belts and were not injured.
