TIONESTA TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Two people escaped injuries in a one-vehicle accident February 9 in Tionesta Township, Forest County.

Marienville-based State Police say Matthew M. Mugrage, 21, of Bridgeville, was traveling west on German Hill Road around 3:25 p.m. when he lost control of his 2016 Jeep Cherokee.

State Police say Mugrage’s vehicle left the roadway and traveled approximately 174 feet before crashing into a tree.

Mugrage and a passenger — Sean P. Wagnhofer, 21, of Bridgeville — escaped injuries.

Both occupants were using safety belts.

Mugrage was cited for driving too fast.
