KNOX, Pa. (EYT) — Knox Area Little League Baseball and Softball registration is scheduled for next week at the Keystone Elementary School.

Registration is available on the following days:

– Tuesday, February 21, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
– Thursday, February 23, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
– Saturday, February 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Registration forms can also be filled out at sign-ups.

Parents will also have to fill out a medical release form and parent code of conduct form.

Parents must bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate if it is not on file.

The registration fee is $50.00 per child with $25.00 for each additional child and a maximum of $100.00. Checks must be made payable to: Knox Area Little League.

Signups after tryouts will be charged a $25.00 late fee.

No signups are permitted after April 1. Parents also need to know the child’s T-shirt size and have two number choices for the jersey.

The divisions and ages are as follows:

– Tee Ball 4-7 years (Must be four by September 1, 2016.)

– Baseball — Minors 6-11; Majors 9-12; Juniors 13-15.

– Softball — Minors 6-11; Majors 9-12; Seniors 13-16.

Players must have had one year of Tee ball and be six years old to try out for Minors.
