State Police Discover Marijuana Grow Operation in Harmony Township

HARMONY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A fire at a Harmony Township residence led to the discovery of a possible marijuana grow operation.

According to Marienville-based State Police, members of the West Hickory Fire Department were attempting to put out a fire Monday at a residence on Ann Street when they discovered what they believe to be a marijuana growing operation.

No charges have been filed, and the investigation continues.

State Trooper Watters, of PSP Marienville, declined to comment, citing an active investigation.
