CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion realtor Salvatore (Sal) Mazzocchi, Jr. was installed as the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors District 9 Vice President in a special ceremony this week in Harrisburg.

Mazzocchi, a realtor since 1985, has been the broker/owner of Mazzocchi Realty in Clarion since 1992.

He holds the Graduate Realtor Institute and the Senior Real Estate Specialist designations.

Mazzocchi has served on the Allegheny Valley Board of Realtors for more than 15 years, chairing numerous committees and was a two-term past president. In 2013, he was named Allegheny Valley Board of Realtors “Realtor of the Year.”

Mazzocchi has also been a member of the PA Association of Realtors Board of Directors for the past 10 years and has worked on many committees and task forces including Legislative, Keystone Analytics, Horizons, and Standard Forms.

He is the 2017 chair of the Association Services Coordinating Committee.  He has also served as NAR’s Federal Political Coordinator to Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson.

He and his wife, Karen, live in Clarion and are the parents of two adult children, Vince and Gina.

Mazzocchi is also a proud U.S. Army Vietnam-era veteran.
