INDIANA CO., Pa. (EYT) — A Polk man accused of rape and related charges stemming from an incident that occurred in White Township, Indiana County, has been sentenced to probation.
According to online court documents, 22-year-old Kaleb Joshua Glenn, of Polk, Pa., received two years probation after pleading guilty to one count of indecent assault without the consent of another, a second-degree misdemeanor.
As part of the plea agreement, charges of Rape Forcible Compulsion, a first-degree felony; Simple Assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; and Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact, a summary offense, were dismissed.
The following conditions were ordered:
– Glenn must remain within the jurisdiction of the court and has been ordered to notify the court or the probation officer of any change in his address or his employment.
– He was required to have a DNA sample drawn and pay cost of draw, $250.00.
– Glenn must participate in drug or alcohol treatment program.
– He is required to give Megan’s Law Notification.
– Glenn can not have contact with the victim and family whatsoever.
Details of the Case:
According to Indiana-based State Police, Glenn and the 20-year-old female victim met online through a dating website called Tinder.
They arranged an in-person meeting at a home on Maple Street, in White Township, Indiana County.
“The victim told police that the two engaged in ‘light physical contact;’ but when she refused sexual intercourse, he raped her,” police say.
