FOREST CO., Pa. — Students in the first and second grades at Forest County School District recently performed a Readers’ Theater play entitled “THE HAT” by Jan Brett.

The students learned their lines and acted out their parts using masks and props provided by Mrs. Butler, the Speech/Language Therapist.

The students learned about how to speak clearly and slowly, so the audience would hear and understand them.  They rehearsed and then performed the play for the kindergarten and third grade classes. 

There were lots of budding actors and actresses.
