Work Begins Next Week on Bridge Replacement Project on Route 2007 in Beaver Township

BEAVER TWP., Pa. — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 announced today work is expected to begin next week on a project to replace a bridge on Route 2007 in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

The Huckleberry Ridge Road bridge carrying Route 2007 over I-80 is expected to close at 7 am on Monday, March 13, and a detour will be in place. This closure is from SR 4005 (Tippecanoe Road) to SR 208. It is anticipated that the new bridge will be built and open to traffic by the beginning of November.

There will be lane restrictions on I-80 Eastbound and Westbound at night between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am. These working hours will be used for beam removal and beam placement. Other working hours will be during the daytime between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm without any restrictions on I-80.

This $2.7 million bridge replacement project is being constructed by Clearwater Construction. Inc., and is expected to be completed in spring 2018.
