Woman Injured After Car, SUV Collide in Washington Township

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police have released details surrounding a March 13 two-vehicle accident in Washington Township, Clarion County.

Around 7:24 p.m., Andrew J. Rader, 54, of Tionesta, was traveling east on State Route 208 near Sunny Lane when he turned into the path of an oncoming vehicle operated by Patricia A. Rhodes, 59, of Oil City.

Rader’s 1994 Cadillac Eldorado and Rhodes’ 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe both sustained disabling damage.

Rhodes suffered injuries of an unknown severity while Rader was not injured.

Neither driver was charged, according to state police.

Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department, Clarion Hospital EMS, and Snyder’s Auto Body assisted at the scene.
