Bridge Builders, Clarion-Limestone School Teaming to Help Kids

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Bridge Builders Community Foundation and the Clarion-Limestone School District are teaming up to help kids in need during the upcoming Week of Giving.

Clarion-Limestone Parent-Teacher Organization volunteers, in partnership with community organizations, provide a Family Friendship Bag to about 100 kids in need from within their school.

Each bag is filled with kid-friendly food such as granola bars, fruit, oatmeal, and easy to prepare meals.

The entire effort is funded through community donations.

Clarion-Limestone is urging its faculty, staff, parents, and community members to make a donation to the Family Friendship Bags program through Bridge Builders’s Week of Giving, set for March 20 to March 24.

Money donated during the Week of Giving will be matched from a Bridge Builders Community Foundation prorated fund.

To donate, go to bbcfgives.org between 8:00 a.m., on Monday, March 20, and 11:59 p.m., Friday, March 24.
