Jennifer Fulmer Vinson Announces Candidacy for Clarion Borough Treasurer

CLARION, Pa. — Jennifer Fulmer Vinson, of Clarion Borough, has announced her candidacy for the Democratic Party nomination for Clarion Borough Tax Collector.

Vinson, a graduate of Clarion Area High School and Clarion University, resides in Clarion with her husband, Dr. Eric Vinson, and daughters Kiera and Sabrina. After living in Colorado and California for several years after graduating from CU, she and her family returned to Clarion in 2004. She is one of the owner/managers of Fulmer House Books and Collectibles with her parents, Dr. William Fulmer, retired CU professor, and Elisabeth Fulmer.

Vinson is active in Girl Scouts, the Clarion County Democratic Party Committee, and League of Women Voters of Clarion County. She has recently been appointed to the Clarion Borough Planning Commission. Her interest in local politics and governance have led her to this candidacy.

“She brings a practical and precise approach to local finance and pledges to be a diligent and honest public servant,” according to a press release issued Thursday.
