CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Three Clarion County municipalities are currently without landline telephone service.

A fire Thursday night at Tylersburg Motors in Farmington Township knocked out service to Verizon customers in Tylersburg and Washington Township, according to Clarion County 911 Director Ron Wolbert.

Wolbert also reported that landline phone service in Sligo, Piney Township, was knocked out due to a faulty relay switch on Windstream equipment.

“Both Verizon and Windstream said they are working as quickly as possible to restore service,” Wolbert said.

Cell phone service is not affected.
