RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 10 announced that work is expected to begin next week on a project to replace a bridge on Route 3020 in Richland Township, Clarion County.

The Alum Rock bridge carrying Route 3020 over Turkey Run is expected to close Monday and a detour will be in place.

Route 3020 will close from the beginning of the bridge to the intersection with Routes 338 and 58.

It is anticipated that the new bridge will be built and open to traffic by mid-October.

The detour uses Route 3020 to Route 38 to Route 478 to Route 58 and back to Route 3020.

This $887,020 bridge replacement project is being constructed by Francis J. Palo, Inc., and is expected to be completed in mid-October.
