CLARION, Pa. — To help connect local fire companies with resources available to them, Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion/Armstrong/Forest) will host a seminar featuring Pennsylvania Fire Commissioner Tim Solobay on Thursday, April 13, at the Limestone Fire Hall.

“Commissioner Solobay has a wealth of experience in government and as a fire chief serving a rural area,” Oberlander said. “During the seminar, he will be able to explain many of the programs available at both the state and federal levels, and help to answer questions about the process for applying for grants and other types of funding.”

The event is open to all fire companies within the 63rd District. To register, call Oberlander’s Clarion district office at 814-226-9000.

The presentation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and last for about two hours.

The firehall is located along Route 66 in Limestone.
