Route 58 Bridge Closed Until October As Replacement Project Begins

LICKING TWP., Pa. – As a reminder, the Callensburg #1 bridge carrying Route 58 over the Clarion River in Licking Township, Clarion County, closed today for replacement.

Route 58 is closed to traffic between Blairs Corners Road and Route 368 and a detour is now in place.  It is anticipated that the new bridge will be built and open to traffic by the end of October.

The detour uses Route 58, Route 368, and Route 268. See detour map below.

This $5.1 million bridge replacement project is being constructed by Francis J. Palo, Inc., and is expected to be completed in November.

Remember to slow down and use caution in work zones.  Fines are doubled for violations in work zones.  Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the workers.
