William Henry Graff

William Henry Graff, 72, of Clintonville passed away March 27, 2017 peacefully at home after a battle with liver cancer.

Bill was born on December 16, 1944 in Oil City, he was the son of the late William A. Graff and Lillian Bickel Graff.

Bill graduated from Oil City High School and continued his education at Penn State Trade for tank erection. Bill married Rose M. Hale on October 3, 1964 and she survives.

Bill was the founder and owner of Graff Tank in Ohio and also Graff Tank Erection in Clintonville.

He provided employment for many local men, teaching them to weld and helping them learn the skill.

Bill and Rose where always up to watching their grandchildren play little league games and rooting them on.

He attended his grandson 4-wheeler races as well.

Bill was a outdoors man, fishing and hunting where passions of his. He kept busy by working in his wood shop.

Loved ones left to cherish Bill’s memory are his wife Rose of Clintonville, his children Raymond A. Graff and his wife Soni of Stoneboro, William H. Graff II and his wife Dina of Harrisville and his daughter Elizabeth C. Stitt and her husband Richard of Emlenton. His grandchildren Brooke and Clinton Graff of Harrisville, Brittany Graff of Emlenton and Brody Stitt of of Pittsburgh. Sisters Christine Stephens and her husband John of Kennerdell, Helen Grimm of Oil City, Lorraine Holtz and her husband Augie of Pleasantville, Kathy Valle and her husband David of Brewster Ma, and Carolyn Graff of Polk. Bill faithful companion Marbles also survives.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents 3 brothers David, Dick and Donald. A sister Dorothy Graff and a half brother Ed Graff.

A memorial service will take place at a later date. The family suggest memorial donations be sent to Venango VNA Foundation, 491 Allegheny Blvd, Franklin PA 16323.
