CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — The manhunt continues for convicted drug dealer Terry McIntyre who failed to appear on the third day of his trial on Wednesday, March 29, on drug-related charges at the Clarion County Courthouse.

According to Clarion County Detective and Clarion Borough Police Chief William Peck, McIntyre, of Rimersburg, was still on the run.

“We don’t know where he might be,” Peck said.

Anyone with information on McIntyre’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at 814-226-1710. Individuals are asked not to approach McIntyre.

“Anyone who provides him any assistance, transportation, financial aid or any other type of aid to avoid law enforcement will be investigated and prosecuted,” Peck said.

McIntyre cut his ankle bracelet off around 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

McIntyre was found guilty later that day on 47 of 48 counts regarding manufacture of methamphetamine.

Peck said on Wednesday that a bench warrant for McIntyre’s arrest was issued, and new charges would be filed including flight to avoid apprehension, trial or punishment, default and required appearance and possibly others for cutting the bracelet.

“The two new crimes are both felonies,” Peck said.

According to online court documents, McIntyre was lodged in the Clarion County Jail on $75,000.00 bail; however, on February 3, his bail was reduced to $1.00, and he posted it that day.

Wednesday, McIntyre was found guilty of the following offenses after a 2 1/2-hour jury deliberation:

  • Criminal Solicitation to possess Methamphetamine — 23 counts
  • Possession of Chemicals with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine — 17 counts
  • Manufacuring Methamphetamine (Child Presnt) — 2 counts
  • Reckless Endangerment — 2 counts
  • Manufacuring a Controlled Substance — 1 count
  • Operating a Methamphetamine Lab — 1 count
  • Conspiracy to Manufacure Methamphetamine — 1 count

He was found not guilty of illegally dumping methamphetamine waste.
