CLARION, Pa. — The Clarion County YMCA has announced an Open House scheduled on Thursday, April 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the YMCA located at 15952 Route 322 in Clarion.
YMCA staff will be on hand to give tours and provide information on upcoming programs. Non-members will receive tours and have the opportunity to try programs and equipment while taking advantage of free Child Watch (available for ages eight months to six years old).
Seniors will have the opportunity to sample SilverSneakers programming at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m, and 11:00 a.m., tour the facility, and try the equipment. Seniors are encouraged to bring their insurance cards to find out if they qualify for a free membership.
A “Chinese Auction” style raffle will be held for members and non-members attending the event. Prizes include an overnight stay at Camp Coffman ($80.00 value); a Personal Training Package ($40.00 value); a week of Summer Day Camp ($135.00 value); and five YMCA t-shirts ($10.00 each).
Members and non-members attending the event can earn chances for the raffle when they:
– Attend the Open House – Earn one ticket
– Bring a friend to the Y for Open House — Earn one ticket
– Attend a full or sample SilverSneakers Class – Earn one ticket
– Sign-up for a Membership – Earn three tickets
