Man Injured As Vehicle Crashes into Utility Pole in Scrubgrass Township

SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Kennerdell man was injured in a crash early Thursday morning on Lisbon Road, in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 5:35 a.m., 26-year-old Perry D. Exley, of Kennerdell, was traveling north on State Route 3007 (Lisbon Road) and encountered a right curve in the roadway. Exley lost control of his 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, and the vehicle exited the east side of the roadway, impacted a mailbox, and then impacted a utility pole with its right front end.

The vehicle came to a final rest on its wheels in contact with the utility pole on the east side of the road facing approximately northeast.

Exley suffered suspected minor injuries.

He was using a seat belt.
