Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest in Monroe Township

MONROE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A drug arrest was made on Saturday afternoon at the 61.5 mile marker, on Interstate 80 West, in Monroe Township, Clarion County.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 1:45 p.m. 27-year-old Matthew Scott Connelley, of Lock Haven, was stopped for a speeding violation.

Police say a probable cause search of the vehicle yielded marijuana, oxycodone pills, and various items of paraphernalia.

No other information was provided.
