Paula Kay Hosey

Paula Kay Hosey, 52, of Lexington, NC, formerly of Clarion, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 at her home.

A memorial service was held on March 16, 2017 at 11am at the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church with Rev. Sandra Ireson officiating with visitation prior to the service.

Paula was born on March 14, 1964 in Charlotte, Michigan to Danny Marshall Hosey and Sally Ann Craig Hosey.

She worked at Zoe’s Grill and was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her parents of Lexington; son, Christopher Brandon Smith of Williamsburg, VA, a daughter, Kassie Leigh Mize (Shawn) of Bryan, Texas; two sisters, Leigh Ann Beck (Frankie) of Richmond, VA, Elizabeth Daneen Marley (Dave) of Winston-Salem and one grandchild, Casey Atlas Mize; niece, Megan Marley; two nephews, Jacob Beck and Logan Marley and one-great niece, Lainey Adams Beck.

Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins of Clarion County.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association, P. O. Box 715, Greensboro, NC 27402.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 9, at the Rimersburg United Methodist Church located at 399 Main St. in Rimersburg. The Rev. Dan Myers, retired minister of the United Methodist Church, will be presiding.

Interment will be in the Rimersburg Cemetery.
