Jefferson County Megan’s Law Violator Still on the Run

SNYDER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — According to DuBois-based State Police, a transient man — who is a convicted sex offender — failed to comply with Megan’s Law requirements.

Police say 66-year-old Charles Edward Schumaker failed to register under the requirements of Megan’s Law when he left Just For Jesus in Brockway on March 21, 2017, and failed to register his new address within three business days.

A warrant has been issued for Schumaker.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Schumaker is asked to contact PSP DuBois at 814-371-4652.

Megan’s Law Public Information:

Sixty-six year old Schumaker is 6’0″ and weighs 140 pounds. He has gray (or partially gray) hair and hazel-colored eyes.

He has several tattoos on both arms, chest, and right shoulder.

His last address was Just For Jesus located at 14530 Route 28, Brockway, Snyder Township, Jefferson County.

He was convicted of Indecent Assault on January 24, 2000.

His Megan’s Law Registration started on January 16, 2008.

It was last updated on February 8, 2017.

He is listed as a Tier 3 offender which requires a lifetime registration.
