Sexual Assault Charges Against Clarion Man Moves Forward to Court of Common Pleas

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — The case against a Clarion man for multiple counts of statutory sexual assault has been held for court.

According to court documents, on Tuesday, April 18, the criminal case against 23-year-old Brandon Meade Ditty, of Clarion, was transferred to Clarion County Court of Common Pleas.

He faces the following charges:

– Statutory Sexual Assault: 4-8 Years Older, Felony 2 (6 counts)

– Unlawful Contact With Minor – Sexual Offenses, Felony 2

– Corruption Of Minors – Defendant Age 18 or Above, Felony 3

Details of the case:

According to a criminal complaint, the victim participated in an interview with Troopers Craddock and Allison on June 3, 2016.

During the interview, the victim stated that she had sexual intercourse with Ditty at his Strattanville residence on five separate occasions between May 10, 2016 and May 11, 2016.

The victim also told investigators that she had sex with Ditty at his residence on another occasion between June 2, 2016 and June 3, 2016.

The victim, who was 15-years-old at the time, was living at Ditty’s residence when the incidents allegedly occurred.

Ditty remains in the Clarion County Jail after failing to post $10,000.00 cash bail.

The case is working its way through the court system.
