Area Band Students to Perform at PEMA State Conference
Students representing the high schools of Brookville, Clarion, Union, and Keystone will perform at a session presented and conducted by Lisa E. Hummel, Dr. Timothy F. Stevenson, and Christopher A. Curry which will detail the PMEA Adjudication Process.
This is the first high school large instrumental group from the local area to perform at a State In-Service Conference in more than 25 years.
The students came together again to rehearse Monday (pictured above) to finalize their musical selections which were last performed together as a group at the Assessment Honors Band Concert held last October.
The Assessment Honors Band students and the participating directors (Stevenson, Curry, Hummel and Christopher Long) would like to thank their individual school districts and parent organizations for their support as well as their Corporate Sponsors; Matt Lerch and the Clarion Office of Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC and Rick Himes of the RRR Roadhouse.
