According to Ms. Seidle, borough council will be contacting Mr. Todd Bish by mail to explain the council’s position regarding his demand for Councilman Mateer’s removal from the council. Ms. Seidle said that Mr. Mateer’s term expires this year and that he does not intend to run for re-election and that the council has expressed no intention to appoint Mr. Mateer to any vacancy on the council that may come open in the next session.

Ms. Seidle also pointed out that council has a complete accounting of the monies spent on the Scout Hall Park basketball court upgrade, not just one bill that Ms. Keller approved, as was reported. The solicitor said that the council remains committed to finding some resolution with Ms. Keller, so that the basketball court can serve as a memorial to Ms. Keller’s son Jonah Sovik.
