Quintin Crissman UnionMARIENVILLE, Pa. (D9Sports) – Reice Saylor, Luke Bowser and Dana Logue combined on five-inning no-hitter, as Union beat Forest Area 10-0 in five.

Saylor struck out five, Bowser struck out two and walked two and Logue struck out two.

Quintin Crissman was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs to lead the Golden Knights offense. Lucas Bowser was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, and Isaac Yoder also drove in three.


SENECA, Pa. – A three-run fifth inning helped visiting Moniteau to a 5-3 win over Cranberry.

The Warriors scored on a balk, a Lake Pry groundout and a Hunter Fitzingo sacrifice fly in the decisive inning.

Pry was 2-for-3 with a walk and three RBIs to lead the Moniteau offense. Fitzingo went 2-for-2 with the RBI, and Nick Sosigian was 2-for-4 with a walk and a run scored.

Cameron Daugherty had a pair of RBIs for Cranberry, while Jake Felmlee doubled and drove home a run.

Jake Jewart got the win in relief of Pry, who was removed after a ⅓ of an inning that saw him walk four and allow a hit and two runs while striking out one.

Jewart went 6 ⅔ for the victory allowing one run on four hits while walking no one and striking out eight.

Andrew Gunn took the loss in relief of Nolan Brannon. He gave up two runs on three hits and four walks in three innings of work. Brannon went four-plus allowing three runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four.


BUTLER, Pa. – Tyler Yough tossed a five-hit, six-inning shutout, as Karns City downed visiting Clarion-Limestone 10-0 in six innings at Kelly Automotive Park in Butler.

Cullen Williams led the Gremlins offense going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBIs. Markus Lantz also had a hit and two RBIs, while Yough doubled and was 2-for-3 with two runs scored in helping his own cause. Also for KC, Stephen O’Donnell had a pair of hits, two walks and two runs scored and Jimmy Thompson added a hit and two runs scored.

Colby Himes went 2-for-3 to pace C-L.

Sam Leadbetter took the loss giving up eight runs, only one earned, on nine hits and three walks while striking out three in four innings of work.
