State Police Release Details on Drug Arrest in Beaver Township

BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Beaver Township led to a drug arrest.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 4:39 p.m., on April 10, 20-year-old Parris Lavalle Harris, of Allegheny County, was stopped on I-80 West, near mile marker 51.4, in Beaver Township.

Police say “Harris was under the influence of a controlled substance and had drug paraphernalia in his vehicle.”

Harris also allegedly provided false identification to law enforcement.

It was also discovered that he was wanted on several charges in Allegheny County.

State Police filed DUI, providing false ID to law enforcement, paraphernalia, and several summary charges against Harris in District Court 18-3-03.

Harris faces charges in Allegheny County that include car theft, robbery, aggravated assault, and other offenses.
