In the first game, Kennedy DeMatteis allowed two hits and struck out seven in five innings of work. Then, in the nightcap, she gave up two hits and a walk while striking out seven in five more innings in the circle.

Offensively, Moniteau had a field day.

In Game One, the Lady Warriors had 18 hits including a triple by Gabby Stewart and doubles from Kristina DeMatteis, Cortney Claypoole and Dolcey Shunk.

Claypoole was 4-for-4 with four runs scored and two RBIs, Kristina DeMatteis was 3-for-4 with three runs scored, Megan Hepler was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and four RBIs, Maddie Fitzgerald was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored and Amanda Dailey was 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.

Makena Stiller had both of Keystone’s hits in the opener.

In the second game, Moniteau needed just seven hits to score its 11 runs thanks in part to seven Keystone errors.

Stewart hit a home run in the game and was 1-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs.

Kristina DeMatteis had a pair of hits in three at-bats with a double, an RBI and two runs scored, Sara Hull was 1-for-3 with a double, a run scored and two RBIs, Shunk was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored and Kristen Auvil was 1-for-2 with two runs scored.

Stiller had another single for Keystone with Jessi Phillipi hitting a double.

The wins move Moniteau to 14-0 on the year.
