Wanda R. Thompson, 92, of Coraopolis, died at 10:30 am, Saturday, April 29, 2017, at West Penn in Pittsburgh.

Born January 3, 1925 in Oil City, she was a daughter of the late Austin R. and Josephine S. Heeter VanDyke.

Mrs. Thompson was a graduate of Oil City High School.

On February 11, 1944, she married Richard A. Thompson, who preceded her in death on August 18, 1986.

Surviving are a son, Thomas Thompson and wife Jane; a granddaughter, Jill Jones; and a great Grandson, Tommy Kraus.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, James VanDyke, and two sisters, Mary McGregor and Shirley Evans.

There will be no visitation and services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in Zion Union Cemetery, Emlenton.
