Clarion University Athletics Hall of Fame Inducted Seven New Members Friday

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — The Clarion University Athletics Hall of Fame inducted seven new members Friday at a dinner held at Eagle Commons on the main campus.

Inducted into the Hall of Fame were Doris Black (women’s basketball coach from 1984-88), Gary Frantz (Class of 1980, wrestling and football), Kayla (Kelosky) Renninger (Class of 2011, diving), Dave Sheets (Class of 1994, swimming), Frank Supancic (Class of 1973, swimming), Craig Turnbull (Class of 1974, wrestling) and Art Walker (Class of 1992, football and track). The evening started with a reception in the lower level of Eagle Commons before the proceedings moved upstairs to the dining area for dinner, an introduction of the athletes and speeches from the athletes.
