No Place Winners for Clarion University Track and Field Friday at PSAC Championships

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. (EYT) — Six Clarion University women’s track and field athletes participated in the PSAC Track and Field Championships Friday at Bloomsburg University, but none of them scored for the Golden Eagles.

Dani Tarr and Letizia Collini started the day off for the Golden Eagles in the 800-meter run with Tarr taking 14th (2:18.60) and Collini 24th (2:26.66). Then in the 3,000-meter run, Kelsey Murray was 12th in a time of 12:22.86 with Danielle Stoner taking 13th in a time of 12:47.05.

In the field events, Kari Steuer and Katie Brest were Clarion’s lone participants on the day.

Steuer was 11th in the shot put with a toss of 11.84 meters and Brest was 23rd in the shot put with a throw of 10.89 meters.

The championship continues Saturday.
