Clarion, Redbank Valley Softball Gain Saturday Wins

KNOX, Pa. (D9Sports) — Sadie Rudesyle drove in five runs to lead Clarion to a 16-4, six-inning win at Keystone Saturday.

Rudesyle was 3-for-4 with a home run and two doubles for the Lady Cats in the victory and was the winning pitcher going six innings allowing four runs, two earned, on two hits and three walks while striking out three.

Sydney Kiser also had a pair of doubles for Clarion, which used a nine-run sixth inning to put the game away. Kiser was 3-for-4 with a run scored and three driven in.

Alexis Constantino added a 4-for-5 day for the victors with a double of her own, an RBI and four runs scored, while Tori Vega had a had a double, a run scored and two RBIs and Cora Zerfoss and Maya Thornton were both 2-for-5 with two runs scored. Thornton added a pair of RBIs.

Jenna Hawk had both of Keystone’s hits going 2-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI.

MaKena Stiller took the loss allowing 16 runs, 14 earned, on 17 hits and five walks while striking out two in six innings.

REDBANK VALLEY 10, CLARION-LIMESTONE 0, 6 INNINGS

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. — Kaia Rearick was 4-for-5 with an RBI and four runs scored, and Kara Hicks went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBIs to lead visiting Redbank Valley to a 10-0, six-inning win over Clarion-Limestone.

Kristen Shaffer, Lexi Holt and Sami Leasure all added hits for the Lady Bulldogs with Shaffer and Holt driving in a run apiece.

Alyssa Burkett got the win going six shutout innings allowing two hits and two walks while striking out five.
