State Police Calls: Drug Arrest, Disorderly Conduct

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — State police responded to the following calls:

Drug Arrest in Licking Township

Clarion-based State Police say a traffic violation was observed around 10:24 a.m. on May 5 on Whitmer Road, in Licking Township. A traffic stop was initiated, and 21-year-old Levi William Zacherl, of Emlenton, “was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance. He was also in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia,” according to police.

Police say 29-year-old Anthony James Knight, of Knox, was charged with “possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.”

No other information was provided.

Disorderly Conduct in Corsica

Sometime between 11:00 p.m. on May 11 and 4:00 a.m. on May 12, Punxsutawney-based State Police investigated a disorderly conduct incident at 14911 Route 28 in Corsica.

Police say approximately 100 nails were thrown across the parking lot.

The victim is a 60-year-old Corsica man.

The investigation continues.
