East Brady ‘Playground of the Allegheny’ Dedication Set for June 17

EAST BRADY, Pa. (EYT) – The East Brady Area Development Corporation invites all area residents and visitors to its mural dedication, scheduled for Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. The mural is a project of the Trail Town Committee.

The dedication ceremony will take place in the parking lot at the mural’s location, 326 Kelly’s Way, in downtown East Brady.

Local political leaders have been asked to speak.

Seating will be available along with refreshments and live music. In conjunction with the mural dedication, the Allegheny River will be recognized as the River of the Year. The mural depicts four seasons of outdoor activity on the river, the trails, and in the surrounding area.

This project has been a concerted effort to enhance East Brady’s downtown area, entice tourists to partake in the area’s natural beauty and attractions, and become a source of pride for the community and its residents.
