Historic Gathering as Lutherans and Catholics Talk About The Reformation on May 21

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Five hundred years after the Reformation began and after 50 years of official dialogue between Roman Catholics and Lutherans, the congregations of Immaculate Conception Church and Grace Lutheran Church will co-host an event entitled, “Necessity and Tragedy of the Reformation.”

The event be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, at IC’s Our Lady of Clarion Center located at 720 Liberty Street.

It will feature noted speakers Dr. James Drane and Dr. Daniel Eppley. 

It is open to the public at no charge.
