Trailing 9-8 and with two outs in the sixth, the Panthers proceeded to put seven men in a row on base.

The Falcons tried to rally in the seventh and scored three times thanks to a two-run single by Lucas Larimore and Jeff Ginn base hit.

But with runners on first and second and one out, Corey Rapp, who started the game going 2 ⅓ before being replaced by LaVan, came back onto the hill to replace Dawson Steele and got Aaron Busch to fly out to center and Lane Chalmer to pop out to shortstop to earn a very unconventional save.
