Details Released on Foxburg Woman Injured in Route 208 Crash

BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police released details on a crash that occurred last week on State Route 208, in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 11:14 a.m. on May 17, 79-year-old Nancy Blauser, of Foxburg, was driving east on Route 208 and lost control of her 2003 Pontiac Sunfire, went off the road, and traveled into a small drainage ditch near the intersection of Attleberger Road.

The car then hit three mailboxes and a fence before crossing the intersection and hit a dirt embankment, police say.

Blauser, who was wearing her seat belt, then steered back into the eastbound lane of Route 208 and drove about 50 feet where it came to rest.

Shippenville EMS took Blauser to Clarion Hospital. The extent of her injuries are unknown.

She was using a seat belt.
