Speeding Teen Crashes Car in Limestone Township

LIMESTONE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Corsica teen avoided injuries in a crash on C-L School Road Thursday afternoon.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 2:59 p.m. on May 25, a 17-year-old male was driving south on C-L School Road in a 2010 Chevy Malibu. He overcorrected while negotiating a slight left curve at a high rate of speed and left the road, hitting a utility pole. The Malibu then traveled alongside the road for about 200 feet before coming to a final rest.

The teen was wearing his seat belt and escaped injuries.

He was charged with a traffic violation.

Leadbetter Auto Body & Towing removed the car from the scene.
