CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — The Flood Warning for Clarion County has been extended.

The National Weather Service of Pittsburgh issued the following weather alert at 6:40 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, 2017:

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Flood Warning for…

Central Clarion County in west central Pennsylvania…

* Until 930 PM EDT. This warning replaces the Flash Flood Warning which expired at 645 PM EDT.

* At 635 PM EDT, radar indicated heavier rain tapering off in the warned area. However, radar estimates are that 2 to 4 inches have fallen across Central Clarion County. Runoff from that rain will continue for several hours and another half to one inch of rainfall is possible overnight with additional showers and storms.
